Ole Miss signee Darius Barksdale has been arrested for a DUI and driving without a valid license.
According to Batesville, Mississippi, police, Barksdale "borrowed" the vehicle of an acquaintance very early this morning. An hour after the female reported it stolen, police spotted the vehicle and pulled it over.
Barksdale was driving and not only smelled of alcohol, but failed a field sobriety test. At that point, he was arrested, although the female acquaintance refused to press charges regarding the "borrowed" car.
The running back has yet to qualify academically and is not enrolled at Ole Miss yet.
And, chances are, he won't be in the future, even if he clears his academic hurdles. The SEC Rocks!
