Gator's Head Coach Urban, and Illinois Head Coach Zook have the proverbial kiss-and-make up session

August 21, Urban Meyer took some shots at the locker room culture he inherited from Ron Zook, shots that the Florida head coach claims weren't aimed (August 22)at the current Illinois coach personally.
You don't win many games, but you feed off freshman and shaved eyebrows... Unbelievable... It's called a team, not some silly nonsense. That was five years ago, let's go beat up freshmen. Let's get our brains kicked in against our rival, but let's go beat up a freshman.
Zook then fired off a couple of blasts of his own aimed at Meyer.
I was surprised to see that, once again, five years later, we're blamed for something else at Florida. But by now I guess I shouldn't be. This one was most disappointing because it implies we didn't look out for our players. From someone who wasn't there at the time.
Now, apparently, all is just peachy keen between the two.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Meyer and Zook spoke on the phone over the weekend and ironed out their "differences". Meyer apologized for the insinuation that he was blaming Zook for the eyebrow-shaving culture that seemed to have permeated the Gators' locker room.
So, there you have it. The SEC Rocks!
