Georgia's starting sophomore center Ben Jones sustained a sprained left ankle in Wednesday's practice, sports information director Claude Felton said. X-rays were negative.
"He's day-to-day, depending on how he responds to treatment," Felton said Wednesday night.
Jones played in all 13 games last season, starting 10.
The Brent, Ala., native was named SEC offensive lineman of the week following the Kentucky game last season.
