Slimmer Cody may be Key for Alabama

A small change may make a big difference for the University of Alabama football team this season. Nose tackle Terrence Cody said Thursday that he hopes to drop his weight down to 345 pounds by the start of the season, and he appears to be in line with that target, as he has currently trimmed his frame to 354 for the first day of practice for the Crimson Tide.
“That’s my goal this camp,” he said. “To show the coaches that I have gotten better in shape and I can sustain and go more plays in the game.”
Cody said that he can already feel a difference from last season.
“I’m not as worn out as I was last year after practice,” he said. “It feels a lot better. I’m in a whole lot better condition and better shape than I was last year.” The SEC Rocks!
