UK's Rich Brooks...nervous about 1st week of Camp

Last year, Rich Brooks didn't have to wait for the season for his 1st loss.
The University of Kentucky football coach announced on the 1st day of practice last season that QB Curtis Pulley was dismissed from the team, costing the Wildcats a potential starter.
Brooks knows all too well that the week leading up to practice (UK takes the field for the 1st time on Friday )can be just as stressful as the ones leading up to games against Florida or Alabama.
“This is 1 week that is filled with trepidation by me,” Brooks said. “I just want to get to the starting gate with all the horses, not have any scratches, if you know what I mean.”
UK's players, most of whom spent the summer on campus, report for camp on Thursday, but until they do, there will be some tense moments.
Two weeks ago, Brooks said the eligibility of 2 incoming freshmen , wide receiver/tight end Anthony Kendrick , and defensive lineman Donte Rumph was uncertain.
Last Friday, he said there still were some uncertainties about the roster. The SEC Rocks!
