SEC: No suspension for Arkansas linebacker

Arkansas' 2008 tackles leader, linebacker Jerry Franklin, will not be subjected to additional punishment from the SEC office after his ejection from Saturday night's game against Georgia, said league spokesman Charles Bloom today.
The Razorbacks visit No. 3 Alabama at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Franklin was ejected after drawing 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the same sequence. He was accused of pushing two players and making contact with a game officials. The two penalties meant automatic ejection.
Arkansas went on to lose the game 52-41.
Franklin, a sophomore, started all 12 games for the Razorbacks last season as a redshirt freshman, totalling a team-high 87 tackles and being named a Freshman All-American. The SEC Rocks!
