The Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 14 in the USA Today poll and No. 18 by the AP this week, will host No. 4 LSU this Saturday. Though Georgia (3-1, 2-0 SEC) has won its last three matchups with LSU (4-0, 2-0), the Tigers lead the series between the two schools, 14-12-1. During practice, Richt announced to the team that defensive tackle Geno Atkins, offensive lineman Cordy Glenn, receiver A.J. Green and defensive end Justin Houston would serve as captains against LSU.Richt discussed the game at length earlier in the day during the Bulldogs' weekly press conference.“LSU, what can you say about them?" Richt said. "In all the years that I’ve been here, they won the most games of anybody in the SEC. They have two national championships and three SEC championships. It’s just a great program. They did it under Nick Saban and they are doing it under Les Miles. You certainly could say they are the team of the 2000s. The past decade they have been one of the best if not the best football team in the country." The SEC Rocks!
