Linebacker Dustin Doe and starting corner Janoris Jenkins, the two players are expected to be eligible to play in Florida's 'game' this week against Troy, head coach Urban Meyer announced today.
Both players had likely been suspended for the season opener against Charleston Southern for off-the-field incidents.
Doe was arrested -- twice -- for knowingly driving with a suspended license this summer, while Jenkins was involved in a downtown fight earlier this year. Doe was officially announced as being suspended for the opener, while Jenkins simply didn't play, although there was no official word that the reason for his lack of PT was a suspension.
Regardless, both players should see the field this weekend.
Dustin, at this point, is week to week,' Meyer said. 'If we played tonight, he'd be eligible. Janoris, if he has a good week of practice, he'll be eligible to play as well.' The SEC Rocks!
