A lot can happen between today and Saturday night against LSU. Tim Tebow will be monitored until kickoff and beyond. Tebow could have a bad practice today with further setbacks. And Urban Meyer said the final decision likely won't be made until "the foot hits the ball" in Tiger Stadium. But the feeling among the team seems to be growing that Tebow will be medically cleared to play. After that, a tough decision must be made.
Two sources said today that Tebow's on track to be available to play against LSU. As of Thursday afternoon, he's passed all his concussion-related tests and practiced successfully. Dr. Bayard Miller, a neurologist at Shands at the University of Florida and a consultant to Tebow's recovery, said an athlete "doesn't need to wait to play once healed or medically cleared".
The Gators could choose to sit Tebow, start him or play a two-quarterback system with John Brantley. “I think Johnny will play some in this game," former Gators quarterback Shane Matthews said. "I think it will benefit our team if he gets out there and throws around." The SEC Rocks!
