What was Les Miles and the coaching staff doing or even Thinking ? With a 3rd down play with under 30 seconds left and no time outs, and a screen was attempted, picked up a few but left a 4th and 24. But, the question is why did the coaching take 17 seconds to call the last time out. Did they think they could keep it for the next game? Did they just give up? The hail mary on the 4th down play was a success, with a great arobatic catch. But here again was some of the worst coaching we have seen! The field goal unit was not ready?
