Dooley raids former staff to help fill current one

New Tennessee head coach Derek Dooley has reached back into the not-too-distant past in order to help shape his future with the Volunteers, the school announced this afternoon.

According to a press release issued by the Volunteers, Dooley announced Sunday the additions of Terry Joseph and Eric Russell to the Vols coaching staff.

Both have a history with Dooley from his three seasons at Louisiana Tech; Joseph having spent all three years in Ruston with the Vols new head coach and Russell the first two before moving to the Texas Tech coaching staff for 2009.

Russell was the Red Raiders special teams coordinator, while Joseph was La. Tech's secondary coach and recruiting coordinator.
