'Not good news' on injury front for Vols' DE Martin

Derek Dooley has given an update on the health of defensive end Ben Martin.

While it's far from a definitive diagnosis, it doesn't appear well for the senior's short-term availability.

We now know that Martin indeed suffered a serious injury to his Achilles tendon and, while a return by the lineman at some point this summer camp or, season has not been ruled out, Dooley allowed that "it's not good news" as far as the injury is concerned.

Martin, projected to be a starter for the Volunteers this fall, suffered the injury during the second practice of summer camp Thursday.
