'Bama likely won't 'push the envelope' with Ingram vs Penn State

Speaking on ESPN shortly after having a talk with the head coach of the reigning national champions, Musburger, who will call Saturday night's 'Bama-Penn State game, said Saban told him that Ingram could play this weekend if the coaching staff wanted to "push the envelope".

Saban has not officially ruled out the 2009 Heisman winner for the game, although, again, all indications are that Ingram will not be in the backfield under the lights Saturday night. This Saban quote from Thursday would seem to trump almost anything else said in regards to Ingram's potential availability.

"We're not pushing Mark back in the game," Saban said. "We're not jeopardizing his future, his career or anything else."
