OXFORD, Miss. - Buoyed by a strong rushing attack and two key defensive turnovers, Vanderbilt earned its first win of the season on Saturday as the Commodores knocked off Ole Miss 28-14 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

With the win, the Commodores improved to 1-2 (1-1 Southeastern Conference) on the season, while Ole Miss fell to 1-2 (0-1 SEC).
