During the second half of the Bulldogs' win over Houston Saturday night, receiver Leon Berry broke a bone in his left leg. Head coach Dan Mullen has all but ruled the senior out for the remainder of the regular season, but did allow for the possibility of him returning for a postseason game if the Bulldogs qualify.
"He's likely done for the season," Mullen said. "The medical staff said he could possibly play in a bowl game situation but we don't know about that yet."
Not only will the Bulldogs' deep passing game be affected because of Brown's loss, he was averaging nearly 24 yards per catch, but their special teams unit will take a hit as well as he was averaging nearly 27 yards per kickoff return and scored a touchdown earlier in the year.
