Tide streak comes to an end at S. Carolina 35-21

Stephen Garcia threw three touchdown passes and South Carolina controlled Alabama's potent rushing attack on the way to a 35-21 victory against the top-ranked Crimson Tide on Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium. The loss snapped a 19-game winning streak for the defending national champ Crimson Tide, which lost for the first time since the 2009 Sugar Bowl. It was the first time South Carolina has beaten a No. 1 team in school history. South Carolina improves to 4-1 overall, 2-1 in the SEC. Alabama is 5-1 overall, 2-1 in the league.
Food for thought, South Carolina has bumped off number 1 teams in baseball, basketball and football, a first ever for any school.
