According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, Lathers underwent surgery last week to repair an injured right shoulder. The paper reports that Lathers is expected to be very limited during spring practice, but should be back to full health in time for summer workouts and camp. Lathers has started 17 games the past two seasons, 12 in 2010, and his 75 tackles last year was good for second on the team.
