LSU Turns Attention To Spring Practice

Now that National Signing Day has come and gone, LSU coaches will now turn their attention to spring football practice, which starts in just over a month on March 11. The Tigers will practice a total of 15 times (the number that’s allowed by the NCAA) in a 5-week span, culminating with the annual National L-Club Spring Game at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The spring game will give fans their first peek at quarterback Zach Mettenberger along with early enrollees in running back Kenny Hilliard and defensive tackle Anthony “Freak” Johnson.
