Although he was held out for the second half of Arkansas’ 52-3 blasting of New Mexico this weekend due to concussion-like symptoms, it’s still unclear whether Razorbacks quarterback Tyler Wilson actually has a concussion. Still, Arkansas is taking all the necessary head-injury precautions with Wilson, who expects to play this weekend against Troy. “You get your bell rung sometimes in football,” Wilson told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “Precautionary-wise, we took that approach and sat out the second half. “I feel fine.”
Whether he actually will, though, will be up to the trainers.
Additionally, coach Bobby Petrino said often-injured running back Dennis Johnson might be available to play this weekend against the Trojans. Johnson suffered a hamstring injury during preseason camp that held him out of the first two games of the season. Johnson also missed almost all of last season as well with injuries.
