After missing the past three games, including Arkansas’ lone loss of the season, Jake Bequette could be on the verge of a much-needed return to the Razorbacks. Bequette tweaked his hamstring in the first quarter of a Sept. 10 win over New Mexico and has been sidelined ever since. Head coach Bobby Petrino, though, sounded decidedly optimistic Wednesday about the defensive end seeing the field when UA takes on Auburn Saturday.
“It looks like it,” Petrino said when asked if Bequette will play. “He practiced last night and did a good job.”
Bequette was named first-team All-SEC by the coaches during the preseason, and his presence would certainly help against the 4-1 Auburn Tigers.
