In Tyler Wilson‘s
first season as Arkansas’ starter last year, the quarterback was on the
receiving end of several brutal hits Unfortunately, that trend has
continued into the 2012 season.
The senior suffered what for the time being is only described as an
above-the-shoulder injury in the first half of the No. 8 Razorbacks’
game with Louisiana-Monroe. The injury will force Wilson to the
sideline for the duration of the non-conference game.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette‘s Matt Jones wrote that “officials declined to comment whether Wilson had suffered a concussion.”
Next weekend, Arkansas will host No. 1 Alabama so, yes, this will be a development we’ll be following throughout the week.
