With teams entering the meat portion of their respective summer camps, the injuries are beginning to pileup as Arkansas has a player go down.
According to the NW Arkansas Morning News, backup tight end Chris Gragg dislocated his ankle during practice and is done for the 2009 season.
"I feel bad for him," head coach Bobby Petrino said. "He's worked extremely hard. I'm sure it will be a situation where he'll have to have surgery and be out for the year."
Even as the Razorbacks have 1 of the top TEs in the nation in D.J. Williams, Gragg was expected to see his role expanded this season. As a true freshman in 2008, Gragg had one reception for 25 yards.
Speaking of Williams, the All-American candidate missed his 2nd consecutive practice with an ankle injury.
Petrino claims the injury is not serious. Given the season-ender suffered by Gragg, it better not be. The SEC Rocks!
