Ole Miss' Jevan Snead is a member of the watch list for the 73rd Maxwell Award. The award is presented to the Outstanding Player in College Football. The list is comprised of 55 players who were selected based on their performance during the 2008 season.
A junior from Stephenville, Texas, Snead also made watch lists for the Walter Camp Player of the Year award and the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award. Last year, Snead finished 2nd in the SEC in TD passes (26) and 3rd in passing average (212.5 ypg) and pass efficiency (145.5). He established Ole Miss single-season records for average yards per completion (15.0) and pass attempt (8.4). The SEC Rocks!
