Spurrier interrupted his own post-practice media session to ask the newspaper: The State of Columbia to change its daily advertisement about the approaching season.
Spurrier doesn't mind the ad, just who's pictured in it.
Instead of sophomore quarterback Stephen Garcia, Spurrier said he'd rather see Norwood or defensive end Cliff Matthews pictured. Norwood and Matthews are captains.
"I'm requesting that change," Spurrier said. "He's (Garcia)not the face of our program yet. I hope he is someday." Burn...The SEC Rocks!
