Tebow the Best...Bobby Bowden Doesn't Think So

Bobby Bowden was asked today, who’s the greatest player he has coached at Florida State? He thought about it for a moment. Then started talking about Charlie Ward, the quarterback who guided the Seminoles to the 1993 national title while winning the Heisman Trophy.
While talking about Ward, Bowden brought up Florida’s Tim Tebow, and how people keep asking him if Tebow is the best college football player in history. And we will pick it up right there :
“People keep asking me about Tebow,” Bowden said. “You know, is he the best ever? I don’t know if he’s better than Charlie. I don’t think he runs better than Charlie. I don’t think he throws better than Charlie, and Charlie only played [quarterback] 2 years for us.” OUCH...The SEC Rocks!...Bowden!
