'Canes-Tide a possibility for season opener at the Georgia Dome

The "top executive" for the Chick-fil-A Classic has told the Miami Herald that he would like to match up Miami and Alabama in the season opener two years from now. Each team would take home $2.25 million for the Georgia Dome appearance.
While there's no word from 'Bama regarding the game, the UM athletic director seems very much open to the idea.
"It's something we would be interested in," Kirby Hocutt told the Herald.
If Alabama decides to pass on the '12 game, Auburn, Georgia and South Carolina would be other possibilities for the Hurricanes in the opener.
