Georgia tailback Caleb King was held in jail on Monday morning

Georgia tailback Caleb King was held at Clarke County jail on Monday morning, after failing to appear in court to address a speeding ticket in Walton County.
"Coach Richt is aware of the situation and is continuing to gather information," Georgia associate athletics director Claude Felton said in a statement.
King became the 11th Georgia player to be arrested in 2010, and the fourth since August. Washaun Ealey, another Bulldog tailback, was charged with three misdemeanors in August stemming from a traffic incident when he hit a parked car.
King, a 22-year-old junior, started at tailback for Georgia in its 41-14 win over Tennessee on Saturday, leading the team with 58 rushing yards. He is the team's second-leading rusher midway through the season.
This is King's second brush with the law since joining the Bulldogs. He was charged with operating a scooter without a license in July 2007.
